Scholars’ Mahakumbh

Scholar’s Mahakumbh by Target PEAK' is a reality cum quiz for students from Class V to graduate level in 120 categories (60 Categories from school level and 60 categories from graduate level).

One student can participate in maximum 2 categories.

For Class 5th to 10th language of quiz is English, Hindi or Marathi. For 11th class onwards quiz language is only English.

Rounds

Practice Round

4 Online Exams will be uploaded on the following dates:

05th Nov 2023
12th Nov 2023
19th Nov 2023
26th Nov 2023

Each exam is of 15 minutes.
Students can appear for a maximum of any 4 tests. The best rank will be considered to clear the 1st round.
From a particular class, all categories will have a different time slot which is given in the Target PEAK app.
In each exam, some of the questions will be from Reasoning/Intelligence/Mental Ability.
Top 100 or top 10% of students from each category, whichever is higher, will proceed to the 2nd round.

Qualifying Round

Students who cleared the practice round have to upload their school / college ID card and verification letter on the app. (Format of the verification letter will be uploaded later in the app)
Students have to select a mode of exam i.e. Offline on OMR sheet or CBT (Computer based test) in the app.
Exam date – 10th Dec 2023
From a particular class, all categories will have a different time slot which will be mentioned in the Hall ticket uploaded in the Target PEAK app.
Invigilators will check & confirm school / college ID card and verification letter.
In each exam, some of the questions will be from Reasoning/Intelligence/Mental Ability.
Top 50 students from each category will proceed to the next round.

Semifinal Round

This is an online exam in Fastest Finger Fast mode.
Each exam is of 15 minutes.
Syllabus will be divided into 4 parts. On each following date, one part will be covered.

From a particular class, all categories will have a different time slot which is given in the Target PEAK app.
In each exam, some of the questions will be from Reasoning/Intelligence/Mental Ability.
In exams, MCQs will come on the screen, and students have to mark the answers as fast as possible.
Whoever marks the correct answer first will be given 50 points.
Top 5 students whose total score in all 4 exams is higher in each category will proceed for Scholars’ Mahakumbh.

Scholars Mahakumbh

Scholar Student of the Year (120 Categories)

Category finalists along with their teacher/parent/mentor have to come to Mumbai on 31st May 2024.
Finals to select Scholar Student of the Year for each category will be conducted on 1st June 2024.
On the same day, there will be a prize distribution ceremony. The prize money would be as follows:

1st Prize: Rs 25000/-
2nd Prize: Rs 20000/-
3rd Prize: Rs 15000/-
4th Prize: Rs 10000/-
5th Prize: Rs 5000/-

Finale (School and Graduate level)

This round will be based on reasoning / mental ability / intelligence.
60 Winners at both levels will appear for the test on 2nd June 24.
12 Students at both levels will be selected as finalists.
There will be 9 elimination rounds for both levels.
3 Students will come in the final round in the finale. Prize money for the final round is as follows:

1st Prize: Rs 1,00,000/-
2nd Prize: Rs 60,000/-
3rd Prize: Rs 40,000/-

The winner at both levels will be awarded as the Winner of Scholars’ Mahakumbh Season 1 (2023-24).

What Do Students Need To Give Exams?

Students Must Have Access To A Smartphone And Suitable Internet To Give Exams On The Target PEAK App Smoothly.

What If At The Time Of The Exam, There Is Some Issue With The Smartphone Or Internet?

It's The Student’s Responsibility To Manage Smartphone And/Or Internet. Target PEAK Will Not Take Any Responsibility Or Do Anything.

What Documents Are Required For The Verification Round?

Students who cleared the qualifying round have to upload the following documents on or before the last date:
1. For valid name proof:
Marksheet of the academic year 2022-23
Aadhar Card
2. For Valid address proof of the Parent and/or Legal Guardian (any one of the following):
Electricity Bill
Voter ID
Driver’s License
Aadhar card
3. Parental consent form signed by the Parent and/or Legal Guardian (format will be uploaded on the app)
4. School / College consent form signed by the Principal / Headmaster / Appropriate authority. (format will be uploaded on the app) Failure to timely submission of the requested documents shall result in disqualification of the student.

How students will know about clearing any round?

Students have to check notifications in the Target PEAK app to know the result of the round.

Will students get certificates after clearing any rounds?

Students will get E-certificates, in the Target PEAK app after clearing each round.

Who will bear travel and hospitality expenses for the Verification round and Scholars’ Mahakumbh final round?

All travel and hospitality expenses have to be borne by the students (or their parents). Target PEAK will offer hospitality ONLY for the 24 finalists along with their one teacher/parent/mentor who will be selected for elimination rounds for both levels (School and Graduate level).

Someone is claiming that he/she can help felicitate entry into Scholars’ Mahakumbh. Is it possible?

The only way to enter Scholars’ Mahakumbh is the registration on the Target PEAK app and qualify for all rounds. The entire process is transparent. Anyone claiming that he/she can help get you in the Scholars’ Mahakumbh is defrauding you. Please contact your local police and report that person.

Is there any possibility of a change of dates for any round?

Yes, in the case of unavoidable circumstances Target PEAK reserves the right to change the date of any round.

Is there any possibility to cancel the quiz for any particular category?

Scholars’ Mahakumbh is going to be conducted for 120 categories. If there are very limited or no registration for a particular category then Target PEAK reserves the right to cancel the quiz for that particular category. In the case of the cancelation of the quiz for a particular category, Target PEAK will refund 50% of the registration fees paid.

Is there any possibility of wild card entry for Scholars’ Mahakumbh?

At the time of the verification round Target PEAK reserves the right to open new registrations.

PEAK Program

PEAK Program by Target PEAK helps students improve their foundation by:

Covering subjects that are generally not covered in the regular school curriculum like Reasoning / Intelligence / Mental Ability.

Conducting weekly practice tests and monthly ranking tests as per syllabus specially designed for various competitive exams.

Language of exams for class 1st to 10th is English, Marathi and Hindi.

Study Plan

The whole syllabus is divided into 8 PEAKs. 1 PEAK every month.
In the Target PEAK app PEAK syllabus is given for each class.
Students from class 5 th to 10 th can see video lectures on Mental Ability / Intelligence. These videos are available in Hinglish and Marathi.
Other subjects generally get covered in school / classes.

Practice Tests

There will be total 24 practice tests (3 tests for each PEAK)
Practice Exams are of

Class 5th to 10th 25 MCQ’s
Class 1 st to 4 th 10 MCQ’s

There will not be any results for Practice tests.
Students can solve these tests as many times as they want.

Ranking Tests

On the last Sunday of every month, ranking tests will be uploaded on the app.
There will be a total of 8 ranking tests (1 test for each PEAK).
Ranking Exams are of:

Class 5th to 10th: 100 MCQs
Class 1st to 4th: 20 MCQs

After submitting the Ranking test, the provisional result can be seen immediately.
Detailed analytical results can be checked anytime. The analysis will be based on the number of students who submitted the exam till that time. It will be updated after every submission of the exam.
In a detailed analysis, students can view the overall, subject-wise, chapter-wise, and question-wise results at the India level, State level, and District level.
Students can give ranking tests as many times as they are interested, but the result will be considered as the 1st-time submission of the test.
The timetable for uploading tests is provided in the app.
